Great Fire of London Workshop at St Peter’s School Buckinghamshire

What a fantastic day! From the moment the children entered 17th Century London (the school hall) they were immersed in the spirit of time, totally engaged and motivated to learn. They especially loved the drama aspect. We had rat catchers, firemen, bomb layers, news bearers and high levels of excitement throughout the morning. The activities were accessible to all of the children with nosegay bags, soap making and leather hammer work being amongst the favourites. The afternoon session was just as stimulating with the children becoming archaeologists and ‘digging’ for artefacts. A huge thank you to Phil and Those History People. We thoroughly enjoyed our Great Fire of London experience and will definitely being recommending your service to fellow co-workers. With thanks from Year 2 at St Peter’s School Buckinghamshire.
